Of course, our job at the World Beverage Championships is to survey all new products from wine & spirits companies and to suggest which products are worth consideration for On-Premise Buyers. Products are judged for superiority in their category. We also look at industry trends and suggest approaches for marketing and promoting these products to increase your market share.
Here are just a sample of the current products we're looking at:
Van Gogh Vodka's Dutch Caramel Vodka
Burnette's ready-to-drink line of Cosmopolitans, Margaritas and Mojitos.
A.V.'s Amaro Montenegro, very popular in Europe, a blend of 40 herbs (recall last year we spotted a trend in herbal liquors, especially St. Germain with their Elderflower liqueur).
Wines from Napa Valley, especially Cliff Lede Vineyards, Rubicon Estate-Rutherford and Meadowood Vinters and Pio Cesare Wines from the Piedmont region.
Note that we are focusing more at Portuguese and Spanish wines with a lesser emphasis on Brazilian and Chilean wines. In terms of French wines, we are looking mostly at wines from the Cotes Du Rhone region. We continue to look at wines from Long Island and the Finger Lakes region. |
